FromSoftware, the developer of Elden Ring, released the highly anticipated Shadow of the Erdtree DLC on Friday, June 21 to widespread critical praise.

This expansion has already set a new record, surpassing The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine to become the most highly-rated DLC release of all time.

To commemorate the incredibly successful launch, Twitch has introduced a fresh badge and emote that fans of FromSoftware can acquire. Those who are interested should act quickly, however.

How to access Elden Ring’s new Twitch badge

Starting now and continuing until Tuesday, June 25, viewers on Twitch have the opportunity to earn the newly released Raging Wolf Helm badge by tuning in to any Elden Ring stream for a minimum of five minutes.

The badge is named after the Raging Wolf Helm worn by Vargram the Raging Wolf, as its design is inspired by it. The wolf pelt, a well-known feature of the headgear, is also incorporated in the badge’s design.

In addition to the badge, Twitch users will also have the opportunity to use a new Global Emote inspired by Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree. This emote will be accessible to all users starting on Friday, June 21 and will remain available until Friday, July 19.

According to the Twitch account on official Twitter/X, users can simply type in the regex SpiritEel to use this emote in chat.

Obtaining these items exclusive to Twitch demands considerably less effort than playing Shadow of the Erdtree with ease.

Prior to release, the creators at FromSoftware cautioned players that the DLC would demand they had already defeated two main game bosses – Radahan, the Starscourge, and Mohg, the Lord of Blood.

While navigating the new Shadow Lands, even skilled Elden Ring players have encountered challenges. Some were caught off guard by the high difficulty of Shadow of the Erdtree, leading one individual to describe it as a “humbling experience”already.
