Fortnite offers four locations where players can deploy Kaiju Detection Beacons, though only two placements are necessary to complete the challenge. The designated areas for beacon placement are as follows:

  • North of Whiffy Wharf
  • Southwest of Shogun’s Solitude
  • East of Shattered Span
  • South of Hopeful Heights

To maximize efficiency, it is advised to target the beacons located east of Shattered Span and south of Hopeful Heights within a single match. This route is advantageous due to the minimal distance and lack of significant geographical obstacles.

When heading towards the beacon located east of Shattered Span, players will find it positioned adjacent to the Demon Portal, conveniently situated over Godzilla’s footprints—a perfect opportunity to tackle two challenges simultaneously. Subsequently, players can proceed southwards to the second beacon found on a nearby small island’s coastline.

Visually, the Kaiju Detection Beacons are identifiable as larger antennas equipped with several panels and screens, already anchored in the ground. To activate these beacons, players will need to interact with them; simply strike the beacon with your pickaxe a couple of times to initiate the activation process without damaging the structure.

Once you see the interact prompt, select the option to activate the Kaiju Detection Beacon. It is only necessary to do this for two out of the four locations mentioned earlier to complete the challenge successfully.
