The Griddy celebration is only available after scoring a TD.

To perform the Griddy in College Football 25, simultaneously push the right stick upwards and press L2 on PlayStation or LT on Xbox after scoring a touchdown. This celebration can only be performed after scoring a touchdown, meaning it cannot be executed after an interception or first down.

The celebration, known as ‘Tiger Swag’ in the game, cleverly pays homage to Justin Jefferson’s former school, LSU. The receiver was one of the first to incorporate the celebration and played a significant role in making it popular. The name is a nod to LSU’s mascot, Mike the Tiger.

The celebration involves the player bending their knees and tapping their heels on the ground in an alternating manner, while simultaneously swinging their arms back and forth.

The Griddy celebration rose to fame after a string of TikTok videos by Allen “Griddy”Davis. As a result, the former high school football player was offered an exclusive contract with EA Sports, leading to the inclusion of the Griddy in the developers’ games. This explains why the celebration has not yet been featured in NBA 2K.

In contrast to Madden 24, College Football 25 allows all players to perform the Griddy celebration without any limitations. It doesn’t matter if the player is a fast receiver or a strong linebacker, they can execute the celebration after scoring a touchdown.
