Method to Unlock the Chamber and Free the Hostages in the Regalith Grand Cathedral
As you embark on your pursuit of the Necromancer, you’ll encounter numerous minions he has summoned in the cathedral. Although your principal objective is to track him down, after your interaction with Catherina, a desire to rescue the hostages may spark within you, particularly in hopes of gaining her allegiance later on.
While exploring the vast cathedral, you’ll eventually stumble upon the chamber where the captives are held. Their cries for help are audible from outside the door. This chamber is situated adjacent to the Prayer Chamber stairs. To unlock the door and free the hostages, it’s essential to locate the Chamber Room Key.
Though the cathedral is expansive, the location of the key is relatively easy to find, positioned not far from the locked chamber.

The Chamber Room Key can be found directly below the locked chamber room. Descend the staircase that is adjacent to the chamber. Once you reach the bottom floor, move straight ahead and enter the first room on your right. Inside, you will encounter another small room that houses a sleeping enemy. In the corner by the stand, you’ll find the Chamber Room Key waiting for you.
Beware that approaching the slumbering foe will prompt your party to advise caution. If you do get too close, a dialogue option will appear asking you to keep your distance or making a clumsy move. Choosing the latter option will certainly wake the adversary, leading to a battle against several enemies. This encounter can be advantageous if you’re looking to gain experience points for leveling up. Additionally, if you’re working on enhancing your luck attribute, defeating more enemies will yield extra item rewards, making this confrontation worthwhile.
Consequences Following the Rescue of the Hostages in the Cathedral
After you successfully save the hostages, your next step will involve searching for Catherina’s friend. Unfortunately, you will discover that her friend has met with a tragic fate. Nevertheless, Catherina expresses her gratitude for your efforts, leading to the establishment of a new bond with her, which grants you access to the Brawler archetype. You can now assign this archetype to other characters within the Akademia.
Catherina hints at a potential future meeting where she may lend her assistance. Beyond establishing this new bond, your focus will shift to confronting Zorba, the Necromancer.
