How to Complete the Wake Up the Brainwashed Characters Objective in Fortnite Chapter 5, Season 4
To complete the objective, you must wake up three brainwashed characters who have succumbed to the influence of Doctor Doom by speaking with them. Below are the three characters and their locations:
Brite Raider
Brite Raider can be found at the southernmost part of the map, either roaming outside her house or sitting on a chair. Engage her in conversation to wake her up.
Peabody
You can find Peabody just to the north of Brite Raider, perched atop the Pea Bois building.
Rust
Rust is located on the southwest side of the map, northwest of Sandy Steppes and southwest of The Raft. He will be found outside his house; approach him to help him break free from his brainwashing.
When you arrive at their locations, you will find them wandering around. Simply talk to them to help them regain their senses. They will share information about Doom’s takeover and eventually remember their true identities, rewarding you with a shield or other useful items for your assistance.
You can also engage the hired followers and defeat them to liberate the brainwashed characters, though this approach requires more effort than simply conversing with them. Since all three characters are located on the southern side of the map, you can complete this objective within a single match, but be cautious of other enemies nearby, as they may interfere and potentially eliminate the characters before you can speak to them.
