In the dynamic world of Anime Vanguards, characters known as units play a crucial role in combat, allowing players to engage enemies and earn in-game currency. Each unit comes with specific statistics, such as damage and range, along with unique traits that can enhance these stats. Players can further customize these units by reassigning their traits through a process called enrolling. The addition of Sub Traits is also anticipated, here’s an overview of how you can roll for these enhancements.

Rolling for Sub Traits in Anime Vanguards

The developers at Kitawari previously showcased the Sub Traits feature in a video, indicating its potential within the game. However, as of now, this feature remains under development and has not yet been released. Once implemented, players can obtain Sub Traits by rerolling Traits at the NPC named Mandra—details on this process are outlined below. It is important to note that the probability of acquiring these bonuses will be relatively low.

Initially, there was some confusion regarding the nature of Sub Traits; many assumed they would merely serve as an additional layer atop existing Traits. However, recent insights shared via the Anime Vanguards Discord server clarified that, “Sub Traits have been reworked to provide unique enhancements beyond simply being a secondary Trait.“This new feature is set to launch alongside a forthcoming game mode, which means players will have to remain patient for its arrival.

Finding Mandra NPC for Rerolling Traits in Anime Vanguards

To locate Mandra, enter the main lobby of the game and navigate to the Evolve Room, as illustrated in the images above. Mandra can be found just outside this room, waiting for players to engage with him. By pressing E to interact, players will gain access to the Trait Index, where they can proceed to reroll Traits for their units.

Each reroll requires a Trait Reroll Token, which allows you to replace an existing Trait with a new one. These tokens can be obtained through in-game currency (Robux) or earned for free via achievements and leveling milestones. When selecting a unit to reroll, you may have the chance to grant it a random Trait along with a Sub-Trait, increasing your strategic options.
