After obtaining Shattered Space and updating the game, confirm that you have completed the “One Small Step”quest. This quest is the first major mission in Starfield, so unless you’re starting a brand new save, it should already be checked off your list.
Where to Start Shattered Space
Upon completing the introductory mission, make a grav-jump to any system that isn’t occupied by a quest. Here, you’ll receive a distress signal leading you to The Oracle, a sizable star station.
