The latest season of Fortnite, Chapter 5 Season 4, has begun with the introduction of various Marvel characters, including the notorious Doctor Doom. If you want to play as this egotistical villain in Fortnite, here’s how you can obtain him as a playable character.
Unlocking Doctor Doom in Fortnite
During Chapter 5 Season 4, players can obtain Doctor Doom in Fortnite by obtaining the Battle Pass and fulfilling the designated challenges in order to unlock the skin. Despite Doom being the main focus of the season, he is considered the “hidden”character for the Battle Pass, similar to Solid Snake in Chapter 5 Season 1.
To obtain the regular Doctor Doom skin, players must successfully complete all six challenges. Completion of all six challenges is required to unlock the character. The following are the six quests for the first page of the Doctor Doom skin:
- Crack five opponents’ shields
- Crouch at the memorial statue
- Deal 200 damage to opponents from beyond 44 meters
- Drop Warm Machine’s Arsenal, Hover Jets, or Auto Turret
- Hit rocks or stone structures
- Survive fire damage four times
Unlocking the Alt Doctor Doom Skin in Fortnite
Similar to past hidden Battle Pass characters, Doom will also have an alternative skin that players can obtain in Chapter 5 Season 4. The alt skin can be acquired by successfully completing the Page 2 challenges.
Page 2 contains six additional quests, but they will only become available once at least four quests from Page 1 have been completed. In order to obtain both the Doom and Pandora’s Armor Doom skins, players must also finish all twelve Doctor Doom quests. The following are the six quests in Page 2:
- Claim Captain America’s Shield or Shuri’s Black Panther Claws from eliminated players
- Dispose of five Followers or Henchmen
- Eliminate 10 players in Doomstadt, Castle Doom, or Doom’s Courtyard
- Hit five players with Doctor Doom’s Arcane Gauntlets
- Open rare chests
- Place first or second in a match
To unlock both skins, players must obtain the Chapter 5 Season 4 Battle Pass. The skins will be available until Nov. 2, when the season ends.
