Performance of the JAK Voltstorm
While the JAK Voltstorm isn’t considered a meta weapon, it can be highly effective when used under the right conditions. It’s important to note its limited range (8 meters), making it best suited for smaller multiplayer maps like Shipment, Das Haus, and Stash House.
In optimal scenarios, this electric shotgun excels in close-quarters combat, as its electrical shocks can jump between enemies, potentially eliminating multiple opponents at once. This is particularly advantageous when opposing players are tightly grouped together on these compact maps.
Interestingly, it also performs well in Warzone, delivering one-shot kills at distances up to 7.3 meters and the ability to take down multiple targets simultaneously. This feature is beneficial when defending against aggressive enemy squads. However, due to its lengthy charge time, it is not ideal for an offensive playstyle; thus, it is better suited for defensive engagements.
The introduction of the JAK Voltstorm signals the conclusion of Modern Warfare 3’s lifecycle as Black Ops 6 is on the horizon. For more details on Treyarch’s future installment, explore the confirmed maps, the start of Season 1, and what lies ahead for Aftermarket Parts.
