Warhammer: 40K Space Marine 2 is a visually stunning game and a worthy sequel to the action title from 2011. Built on Saber Interactive’s Swarm Engine, it showcases incredible detail throughout its environments. The game features a photo mode that allows players to appreciate the characters, intense action, and the intricate architecture created by the developers. Here’s how to access the photo mode in Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2.
Photo Mode in Warhammer 40K Space Marine 2
The Photo Mode in Warhammer: 40K Space Marine 2 is available exclusively in the campaign while playing in single-player mode. To activate photo mode, pause the game and press F on your keyboard or Square/X on your controller.
Once in photo mode, you can reposition the camera, tweak various image effects, apply filters and frames, and hide the UI to take a screenshot when you’re ready. Since the photo mode lacks a dedicated screenshot button, you’ll need to use shortcuts from the Steam client or any other third-party overlay at your disposal.
While in photo mode, users can adjust numerous camera effects such as the field of view, depth of field, focus distance, blur intensity, bokeh intensity, and more. You also have control over the camera’s positioning, allowing for rotation, vertical movement, and rolling to capture dynamic angles around your characters.
In addition to standard image adjustments like brightness, contrast, exposure, saturation, and bloom, players can modify character facial expressions, remove helmets, or completely eliminate them from the scene.
Remember, photo mode is limited to the single-player campaign and will not be accessible during cooperative or PvE modes.
