During various segments of the Rolling Steel mission, players must defuse bombs using the Data-Interrogator. To successfully defuse a bomb, players need to keep a white circle centered on the device’s screen, avoiding contact with the edges.

• First, ensure you can securely place the Data-Interrogator, while coordinating with your team for cover.

• Once the defusal process starts, a white circle will appear on the device’s screen.
• The circle will drift randomly, and you must steer it.
• Gently tap the W, A, S, D keys or your controller’s movement buttons to guide the circle, avoiding holding any directional input.
• This technique is crucial, as tapping offers better control, while holding will push the circle toward the edges.
• By tapping, you can maintain the circle’s position near the center, and being closer to the center will expedite the defuse meter’s progress.

• If the white circle touches the edge, the defusal process will pause, requiring you to reposition it back to the center.

• You can monitor your defusal progress at the top right of the screen or through the bars encircling the white dot on the device screen. The process typically takes around 30 to 35 seconds.
