Chae-ok attempts to make him understand that Lady Madea – the woman he considers a mother – is manipulating him. He confesses that he is aware of how his biological mother, Akiko, died and seems unfazed by it.
Seung-Jo explains his actions as motivated by survival and the desire to please Ho-Jae (also known as Tae-Sang, but we’ll refer to him by his Season 2 alias for clarity).
The scene shifts to reveal Noh Ji-Su standing across the road, ready to take a lethal shot. She blinds Seung-Jo, prompting Chae-ok to remark that Master Jang will be “very disappointed.”
The two girls manage to escape, with Chae-ok urging Noh Ji-Su to flee as shadowy creatures swarm Seung-Jo, leading to a chaotic bloodbath.

With limited options, Ho-Jae strikes the glass with all his might to shatter it and free Chae-ok. As he does, they share flashbacks of their most cherished moments from Season 2, coinciding with the glass finally breaking.
With the threat of Madea seemingly over, law enforcement arrives, though they state that an urgent search requires a warrant. The Najin that emerged from Chae-ok’s neck lies defeated on the floor.
