The release dates for Haikyu!! Final part 1 film have been officially announced, starting on Thursday, May 30 and continuing until Thursday, June 27, 2024. Medialink has confirmed that the film, known as Haikyu!! The Dumpster Battle, will be available in multiple Southeast Asian countries including Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam, and India in May.
Additionally, Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment have confirmed that the movie will offer the option to watch in the original Japanese with English subtitles, as well as an English-dubbed version, alongside the release dates.
Along with the previous announcement, a new key visual for the English version of the Haikyu!! Final part 1 film was also revealed to commemorate the news. Despite the lack of English trailers for the movie at the time of writing, it is anticipated that one will be released in the upcoming weeks leading to the international premiere of the film.
The first part of the Haikyu!! Final film debuted in Japan on February 16, 2024, and immediately claimed the top spot at the box office. It maintained its position for a month, selling 1.529 million tickets and bringing in 2,230,465,540 yen (approximately USD 14.83 million) within its initial three days of release.

The international release dates for the Haikyu!! Final part 1 film were officially confirmed on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at CinemaCon, as stated previously.
The movie will have its initial debut on May 30 in certain regions, and will later be shown in other regions until June 27. Although there is a possibility of further screenings being announced, June 27 is currently the final date for international premieres.
On Thursday, May 30, the movie will have its premiere in Australia, New Zealand, Denmark, Italy, Switzerland (Italian-speaking), the Netherlands, Argentina, Brazil, Central America (Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama), Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, and Peru.
The premiere of the movie will take place on Friday, May 31, in Canada, Finland, Ireland, Norway, Poland, Spain, Sweden, the United Kingdom, and the United States. It will then be shown in Turkey on Friday, June 7, followed by premieres in Belgium, France, Luxembourg, and Switzerland (French-speaking) on Wednesday, June 12.
In conclusion, the announced release dates currently include a Tuesday, June 25 release in Austria and Germany, and a Thursday, June 27 release in Switzerland (German-speaking). As previously stated, these are the current international release dates for the film, but additional dates are expected to be announced in the upcoming weeks and months.
The Haikyu!! Final part 1 film is a continuation of the television anime adaptation of Haruichi Furudate’s original manga series of the same name. While the manga was previously adapted into four television anime seasons, the decision has been made to conclude the adaptation as a two-part film.
