The event ‘Haikyuu!! The Next Step’ is scheduled to occur on March 2, 2025 at Ariake Arena in Tokyo, Japan. According to the franchise’s official social media accounts, attendees will include individuals associated with the franchise and discussions regarding upcoming projects will take place.
It is possible that this could have various interpretations. There is a higher probability of receiving updates on Haikyuu!! Movie 2, as there is currently limited information available. However, it is expected that many fans will be eagerly anticipating the release of Haikyuu!! Season 5.
Despite the overwhelming success of The Dumpster Battle, the idea of returning to television for a final season now seems much more feasible after the epic showdown between the Crows and the Wildcats. However, it would still require a significant commitment, especially since Production IG is currently occupied with projects such as Kaiju No 8 and Psycho-Pass.
In the end, all we can do is wait and see. Waiting for over six months may seem like a long time, especially if it’s just for more information about the sequel to The Dumpster Battle.
