Hailey Welch’s Embarrassment After Becoming Viral for Hawk Tuah Fame

Despite greatly profiting from her viral popularity, Haliey Welch confessed to feeling “ashamed”when she had to appear in public the week after her interview with Hawk Tuah was shared on Tim & Dee TV.

Despite the internet’s ability to catapult ordinary individuals into fame, such as Haliey Welch, also known as the Hawk Tuah girl, the sudden attention can be overwhelming. This is especially true when the reason for going viral is based on an inappropriate interview response.

Haliey was just like others who were uncertain about how to handle their sudden fame.

The video of Hawk Tuah that circulated the internet in June was the subject of a viral clip from Page Six, where she expressed feeling “embarrassed”about it.

Haliey explained that during the initial week after watching the first video, she had a nonchalant attitude, thinking to herself, “It’s only one video, so whatever.”

She admitted, shaking her head, that he continued to post about her even though she was not doing well during the first week.

“Both Chelsea and I struggled during the first week. I felt embarrassed to leave my house or go to work,”she shared.

After experiencing shellshock in the first week, she stated that she became accustomed to the viral fame that she seemingly had no control over and was “unfazed”by it.

Haliey explained that she promptly retained a lawyer to ensure that she was not the sole person benefiting from her popular interview with Tim & Dee TV.

Currently, she has established her own line of products and has even received a payment of $30K for making an appearance at a club, where she commemorated reaching 1M followers on her Instagram account, hay_welch.

She also made good use of her 15 minutes of fame by donating PetSmart food and supplies to support the animals at her local animal shelter.
