Hamidashi Creative Anime Confirms October 2024 Release Date and More in New PV

On Monday, August 12, 2024, the official website for the Hamidashi Creative anime series announced its release date for October 2024, along with additional information and a new promotional video. The new PV also debuted, along with a key visual for the series. This series is based on Madosoft’s original visual novel of the same name.

The most recent update on the Hamidashi Creative anime series revealed the release date, theme song and artist, main cast, and staff, as well as the trailer and key visual. However, only the lead cast has been announced, indicating that more characters and actors will be announced as October approaches.

Crowdfunded Hamidashi Creative Anime Series Premieres in Japan on Friday, October 4, 2024

The release date for the highly anticipated Hamidashi Creative anime has been officially confirmed for Friday, October 4, 2024 in Japan at 1AM Japanese Standard Time (JST). The show will initially air on the Tokyo MX channel at this scheduled time, followed by premieres on the Sun TV and Aichi TV channels on Sunday, October 6, and the KBS Kyoto channel on Tuesday, October 8.

The main characters of the series are Megumi Toda as Hiyori Izumi, Hotori Asami as Kano Tokiwa, Yukino Tsumugi as Asumi Nishiki, Miki Horiba as Sio Kamakura, and Rie Okamoto as Ameri Ryukan. As previously mentioned, it is anticipated that more members of the cast and their respective roles will be announced in the weeks leading up to the show’s debut. The anime’s opening theme song, titled “Hayo, New World,”will be performed by Megu Sakuragawa.

Hayabusa Film is responsible for animating the series, with previous announcements also mentioning the involvement of Frontier Engine in the production process. Hisayoshi Hirasawa holds the role of general director and sound director for the anime. Shige Fukase is in charge of directing and storyboarding the series, while Keiya Nakano is responsible for designing the characters based on Tsumire Utsunomiya’s original concepts. Nakano also serves as the chief animation director. Other staff members involved in the production include:

The announcement of the crowdfunded anime series was made on June 30, 2023, during the launch of the Campfire crowdfunding campaign. The campaign successfully reached its initial goal of 10 million yen (approximately $67,747 USD) within five minutes, and concluded in August 2023 with a total of 113,984,000 yen (roughly $772,207 USD).

Hamidashi Creative aims to produce 12 episodes, with each episode running for two minutes and 30 seconds. The visual novel was originally launched for PC, Android, and iOS in 2020, followed by releases for PlayStation 4 and Switch in 2021. Madosoft has a history of having their titles adapted into anime series for television, including the 2016 adaptation of Wagamama High Spec in April.
