Following speculation about their relationship from witnesses in Hawaii, Han So-hee and Ryu Jun-yeol confirmed their romance and made their public debut as a couple in March of this year. During this time, a post from Ryu Jun-yeol’s ex-girlfriend Hyeri on social media led to speculation about a possible rebound relationship and caused tension between Han So-hee and Hyeri. While Ryu Jun-yeol chose not to comment, Han So-hee took to her personal blog to deny any allegations of a rebound relationship and to criticize Hyeri.
Ultimately, just 15 days into their relationship, Han So-hee and Ryu Jun-yeol decided to end things. Although brief, their romance had a lasting and detrimental effect on Han So-hee’s career. Prior to the controversy, both Han So-hee and Ryu Jun-yeol were being considered for roles in director Han Jae-rim’s drama “Delusion”.
Despite being known for her acting skills, Han So-hee has faced multiple missed opportunities. Following her dating scandal, Lotte Chilsung Beverage chose not to renew their contract with the actress, even though she had been their model for a year. Similarly, Nonghyup Bank ended their three-year collaboration with Han So-hee in March.
Despite the scandal surrounding her personal life, Heydealer, the secondhand car platform that had previously signed Han So-hee as their advertising model in 2022, has not officially terminated their contract with the actress. However, they have taken measures such as disabling the comment section on Han So-hee’s videos and removing several of her commercials from their channels. Interestingly, Heydealer has chosen to replace Han So-hee with Suzy as their new CF model.
By chance, actress Suzy has recently been given the casting offer for the female lead role in “Delusion.”
