Set in Seoul in 2024, “Gyeongseong Creature Season 2” narrates the gripping tale of Ho-jae (who closely resembles Tae-sang) and Chae-ok as they navigate their intertwined destinies and unresolved connections post the spring of Gyeongseong.
The newly released special poster hints at a riveting storyline, showcasing Ho-jae (portrayed by Park Seo-joon) and Chae-ok (played by Han So-hee) embracing one another with injuries, which captivates the audience. Park Seo-joon, who embodies Ho-jae, expressed, “The character undergoes significant transformations, making it challenging to portray him, yet it was enjoyable to explore various ways to convey these changes.” This builds anticipation for Ho-jae’s distinct charm, which sets him apart from Tae-sang in 1945. Han So-hee noted, “The moment Ho-jae and Chae-ok meet feels like a brief return to when Chae-ok discovered purpose in merely existing,” adding intrigue to Chae-ok’s lengthy journey of desire and enriching her character’s emotional depth.
The chemistry between Park Seo-joon and Han So-hee, who have teased a deeper narrative between Ho-jae and Chae-ok, generates significant excitement. Park Seo-joon mentioned, “Having spent extensive time collaborating since Season 1, I significantly relied on her as my partner.” Han So-hee remarked, “The synergy we developed throughout the prolonged filming process is palpable.
