Han So-hee Responds to Backlash Over Allegations of Malicious Comments About Hye-ri

As of October 17, Han So-hee’s recent post on social media has sparked an overwhelming response, garnering over 6,000 comments. The comments include a mix of speculative and accusatory remarks such as, “So even celebrities post hate comments on others,” “Did you really use your private account to leave those nasty remarks?” and “Please stop harassing Hye-ri,” leading to a tumultuous comment section.

This uproar stems from the ongoing dispute over allegations involving a “malicious commenter”targeted at Hye-ri. On October 16, it was alleged that the private account responsible for the derogatory comments about Hye-ri belonged to none other than Han So-hee.

The controversial comments aimed at Hye-ri were particularly cruel, including lines like, “Even if your sister (Ryu Jun-yeol’s former girlfriend, Hye-ri) teamed up with Ryu (Han So-hee’s ex-boyfriend, Ryu Jun-yeol), they wouldn’t match Han So-hee,” “You thought you could amass 17 million followers with that kind of intellect?” and “Thanks to Han So-hee, Hye-ri received a surge of likes after ages, but they’ve all vanished now.”

The suspicion that the malicious comments originated from Han So-hee was amplified by the fact that Jeon Jong-seo, a known friend of Han So-hee, was following the account when it had only a mere four followers. Moreover, the account was created in March, coinciding with the emergence of rumors regarding Ryu Jun-yeol and Hye-ri’s relationship turmoil. Interestingly, Han So-hee had also used the same image for her profile picture as the one used by the suspicious account. The account’s connection to Han So-hee’s stylist further ignited these speculations.

In response to these allegations, Jeon Jong-seo’s representatives remarked, “It’s challenging to verify as it’s a personal issue,” while Han So-hee’s camp firmly denied the claims, stating, “This account does not belong to Han So-hee.”

Subsequently, Han So-hee’s team issued a second official statement, affirming, “Should this allegation prove to be false, we will hold ourselves fully accountable,” reiterating that the account in question is not her private one. Despite this clarification, the online community continues to treat the claims as factual, with many continuing their unfounded assaults on Han So-hee. Some comments have escalated to a disturbing level, drawing significant backlash for their extremity.

Unlike her reactions to past controversies, where Han So-hee would directly address her followers through social media to express her displeasure, she has chosen to remain silent on this occasion.
