On July 30th, OSEN inquired with Hani’s agency Sublime whether Hani was aware of the patient death incident involving Yang Jae-woong. In response, the agency stated that they were unable to comment on the matter and therefore had no further information to provide.
On July 26th, it was announced that a patient had passed away 17 days after being admitted to a hospital under the care of a renowned psychiatrist. The patient had sought treatment for addiction to diet pills containing narcotic substances, but ultimately died from pseudo-obstruction of the intestines after 17 days.
The CCTV footage showed that the patient’s hands and feet were restrained by hospital staff, despite the patient’s complaints of stomach pain. The staff remained unresponsive even as the patient’s abdomen swelled and they experienced a nosebleed, leading to shock. Further investigation revealed that the incident took place at Yang Jae-woong’s hospital.
The incident involving the death of a patient occurred on May 27th, and on June 1st, Yang Jae-woong announced his marriage to Hani. This led to Hani receiving negative comments, as some netizens speculated that she was aware of the incident and criticized her. However, Hani’s agency stated to OSEN that they had no response to the controversy.
In June 2022, Hani and Yang Jae-woong made their relationship public, sharing that they had been together for two years. After four years of dating, including two years of being open about their relationship, they announced their plans to get married. The wedding is set to take place in September.
