Several castings have been held for Happy Gilmore 2, including photodoubles for golf scenes. Currently, an open casting call is being held to find extras from the local New Jersey area.

Despite the lack of details about the film’s storyline, it is probable that they require additional actors for scenes such as golf tournaments and large crowds. In the original Happy Gilmore, the main character was a former ice hockey player who participated in a golf tournament in order to raise funds to save his grandmother’s home, ultimately gaining fame within his community.

Those interested in appearing in the film will need to act quickly. The open casting call is scheduled to take place in New Jersey on August 20.

According to reports, Happy Gilmore 2 is set to start filming in September. The film has been in development for some time and was initially announced by co-star Christopher McDonald in a radio interview. McDonald will reprise his role as Happy’s rival, Shooter McGavin, in the sequel.

Despite not having a confirmed release date, Happy Gilmore 2 is in the works. In the meantime, you can check out Beverly Hills Cop 4, which pays tribute to the original film. Additionally, there is buzz surrounding the viral trailer for Adam Sandler’s appearance on The Simpsons and the renewed interest in his past movie, Mr. Deeds.
