The upcoming multiplayer title from Warner Bros. and Portkey Games is Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions.
Unbroken Studios has developed Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions, the free-to-play version of the beloved high-speed Hogwarts game. The announcement of the game came in April 2023, following the release of Hogwarts Legacy, and a playtesting session was held by the developers soon after its unveiling.

Does Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions have a release date yet?
The highly anticipated release of Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions is set for September 3, 2024.

Upon release, Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions will be accessible on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via both Steam and the Epic Games Store.
It is also possible to access the game on the first day with a PS Plus subscription, as long as the subscription is valid. This is great news for PS4 and Xbox One users, as they will not have to upgrade their consoles to enjoy the game on previous-generation consoles.
Is Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions a Hogwarts Legacy DLC?
Contrary to popular belief, Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions is not a DLC for Hogwarts Legacy. As stated on the game’s FAQ page, it is a unique standalone game.
Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions Trailers and Gameplay
On April 17, 2023, a 16-second playtest teaser was released by Warner Brothers, giving us a sneak peek at the game’s graphics, the field, the Champions Cup, and its characters. Additionally, the teaser features the iconic Nimbus 2000 broomstick.
In a similar fashion to the characters in movies and books, players have the option to select a role as a Beater, Chaser, Keeper, or Seeker and compete to lead their house to victory.
On June 8, 2024, we were finally able to watch the official reveal trailer for this highly anticipated game. While the trailer did not include any gameplay footage, it did give us a glimpse of the Quidditch World Cup.
The official reveal trailer showcased students playing Quidditch in various weather conditions, such as rain, snow, auroras, and fall.
The official gameplay trailer for Quidditch Champions was released on July 29, featuring two gameplay modes – Single Player Career and Online Competitive Multiplayer – that will be available for players to experience at launch.
Additionally, players will have the opportunity to unlock beloved characters from the Harry Potter franchise, including Harry, Malfoy, Ron Weasley, and more. Moreover, the game offers the option for players to design and personalize their own characters using a wide variety of accessories.
The trailer concluded by showcasing pre-order bonuses and deluxe edition perks that are available to those who choose to receive additional rewards beyond the standard version.
