Has Boruto Surpassed Minato with his Unlimited Potential?

Ever since the beginning of the Boruto: Two Blue Vortex manga, the main focus has been on the progress of the title character’s training during the time skip. This has been demonstrated through the use of Fourth Hokage Minato Namikaze’s Flying Raijin Jutsu by the protagonist.

Despite Rasengan Uzuhiko being the protagonist’s newest jutsu, it is not the only one in his arsenal. The manga has yet to reveal the origin of this jutsu and how the protagonist came up with the idea, but its nature implies that he may have already surpassed his grandfather.

Please note: The Boruto: Two Blue Vortex manga is discussed in this article and may contain spoilers.

Despite the development of multiple jutsu stemming from Rasengan, it was originally invented by the deceased Fourth Hokage Minato Namikaze for the purpose of aiding his partner, Kushina Uzumaki. As a Jinchuriki, it was inevitable that Kushina would be called upon to battle formidable adversaries. Therefore, after observing a tailed beast utilizing the Beast Ball technique, Minato devised the jutsu for Kushina’s use.

Despite the fact that the manga or anime did not disclose whether Kushina inherited the jutsu, it eventually became known that it was passed down to other Shibobi over time. Among its users were notable characters such as Naruto Uzumaki, Jiraiya, Kakashi Hatake, and Konohamaru Sarutobi. While the number of users was limited, each Shinobi developed their own variation of the jutsu, with the most recent being Boruto’s Rasengan Uzuhiko.

Upon its inception, Rasengan Uzuhiko was thought to be based solely on the main jutsu. This led to the initial theory that the new jutsu would only exhibit a variation in chakra nature, as seen in other Rasengan forms. However, it has been discovered that the Rasengan Uzuhiko is distinct from all other variants.

Rasengan Uzuhiko stands apart from the main jutsu and its alternatives, as it does not rely on the user’s internal or external chakra, such as Sage Mode or Tailed Beast Mode, for its energy. Instead, it harnesses external energy directly.

According to the main character in the manga, Rasengan Uzuhiko harnesses the energy of a planet’s rotation and orbit, known as its chakra. This results in the target experiencing the powerful forces that occur during these movements.

When the Rasengan Uzuhiko is used with minimal force, it can still cause the target to lose balance and fall to the ground. But when the jutsu is used at or near its full power, it has the potential to completely destroy the target’s body.

Due to the immense size of a planet, the jutsu’s chakra is essentially boundless. As a result, if Boruto were to utilize his Rasengan Uzuhiko at its Maximum Output, the potential strength it could produce would be limitless.

As a result, it can be said that Boruto has potentially surpassed his grandfather in the development of a new and powerful Rasengan technique with the creation of Rasengan Uzuhiko, which may be considered the most formidable jutsu in the entire franchise.
