Hasan Claims xQc Betrayed Him for Clickbait Gains

Twitch sensation Hasan has recently accused fellow streamer xQc of turning against him “for easy clicks” after years of friendship between the two influencers.

FaZe Clan’s month-long subathon is currently streaming on Twitch throughout September, during which one of the organization’s latest members, Jasontheween, invited Hasan for a Hot Ones-style Q&A segment.

“What are your thoughts on xQc?” Jason inquired, leading Hasan to share his candid view on the popular streamer.

“I wish him well. I think that he pushed a lot of people away over his career,” Hasan stated. “He committed the cardinal sin – farming those who have welcomed you and your extended family for clicks.”

Hasan elaborated on the matter, revealing that there was a time in his streaming journey when he was “absolutely getting blasted.”

The Twitch star added: “He absolutely leaned into that sh*t in an effort to garner easy clicks.”

“I’m an adult, you know. I have a structured work routine; I take this seriously. In that context, if someone you care about is making mistakes, you should check them. You tell them, like, don’t do that. There were a few occasions when I did, and he didn’t appreciate it,” Hasan remarked.

The streamer also expressed feeling “bad to a degree” as he believes xQc has personally isolated himself from other streamers and former friends.

In response to Hasan’s comments, FaZe Jason added: “I’m a juicer, so I don’t know how to feel about this.” (“Juicer” refers to fans within xQc’s community on platforms like Twitch and Kick).

Throughout 2024, both xQc and Hasan have exchanged jabs, with xQc accusing Hasan and Pokimane of being “insecure” and envious of his success back in May.

xQc has maintained a large viewership over the years and signed a lucrative contract with the Stake-owned streaming platform Kick in 2023. However, he revealed on September 9, 2024, his uncertainty regarding renewing his contract once it concludes.
