Blizzard has intervened to address a significant problem that has been plaguing Diablo 4 players since the launch of Season 4. However, while this prompt solution may have resolved some issues, it fails to fully satisfy player expectations.
Diablo 4 Season 4: Loot Reborn has successfully addressed numerous concerns that fans have had since the game’s launch. Significant improvements have been made to Legendary Aspects, including easier management and convenient quality-of-life changes, resulting in a significant reduction in the time spent managing inventory.
The latest Helltides are explosively dense with enemies, greatly aiding in the leveling and acquisition of gear during the early stages of the game. The overall reception of Diablo 4’s new facelift has been overwhelmingly positive.
Despite some complaints, Blizzard has promptly addressed a major issue with Diablo 4 Season 4 by keeping their ear to the ground. The recent hotfix effectively resolved the high cost of transmuting Masterworking materials.

Prior to the release of Diablo 4 Season 4, Blizzard had announced a significant rise in the cost of Masterworking, but it was the unexpected transmutation costs that caught players off guard. In response, the Associate Game Director has stated that some changes will be made to these costs, effective immediately on X.
“As we continually evaluate the Gold economy, there is one adjustment that we have deemed necessary to implement immediately,”Piepiora stated. “The cost of converting Masterworking materials has been significantly decreased.”
Although this change is definitely appreciated, there are other aspects of the game that have experienced a significant increase in the amount of Gold needed.
The process of adding Legendary Aspects to gear has proven to be significantly costlier in our own experience, resulting in greater difficulty when building in the early stages of the game compared to before.
Thankfully, it seems that various elements of Diablo 4’s Gold economy will be resolved in the coming days. In a recent statement on X, Community Manager Adam Fletcher disclosed that there are ongoing discussions regarding Gold and other related matters.
