The Hawk Tuah girl is gaining popularity once more as her podcast, aptly named ‘Tawk Tuah,’ has climbed to become the fourth most popular podcast on Spotify after just two episodes.
Haliey Welch has been enjoying her brief moment in the spotlight ever since she went viral in June for stating “hawk tuah” during a street interview with the YouTube duo TimandDeeTV.
In the months that followed, Haliey collaborated with comedian Matt Rife, basketball legend Shaquille O’Neal, and other well-known personalities, including boxer Jake Paul, who facilitated her podcast deal with Betr, his company.
On September 10, Haliey launched ‘Talk Tuah’ featuring guest Whitney Cummings, and subsequently interviewed her grandmother while discussing her rise to internet celebrity.
With only two episodes released, it has already become the fourth top podcast in the United States, trailing behind the likes of Candace Owens, Tucker Carlson, and Joe Rogan.
In the comedy category, Welch’s podcast is currently ranked second in the US, with a real possibility of overtaking The Joe Rogan Experience (JRE) soon.
The podcast has sparked numerous viral memes on X, showcasing users parodying the show’s casual tone by depicting it as something far more sophisticated.
The memes generally commence with the phrase, “Hawk Tuah recently went viral for her rant,” followed by an unrelated topic she never discussed. They often feature a picture of Haliey from her podcast alongside the fictional subject.
