As fans know, Usopp and Kaya share a unique friendship from the very beginning. Furthermore, the live-action adaptation confirmed their romantic feelings for each other. However, while Usopp embarks on his adventures, his bond with Kaya is put at risk.

The synopsis states, “During the events of Dressrosa, a mysterious man arrives in Syrup Village—Usopp’s hometown—with a special interest in Kaya. He quickly wins the villagers over with his kindness and gifts Kaya a medical book, charming her with his easygoing demeanor.
“As Kaya starts to laugh and connect with him, questions arise about how this new friendship will affect her relationship with Usopp.”
Fans expressed their concern after reading the synopsis. One user wrote, “Usopp is going to return to Syrup Village with all these stories, only for Kaya to be with another man.”
“People are seriously doubting Kaya; can you believe it? She’s just going to fall for this mysterious man? He doesn’t even compare to Usopp. Let’s be honest,” wrote another fan.
“While other characters have significant stories and lasting impacts, here comes Usopp with the NTR storyline, it’s so disheartening,” a third user expressed.
Despite the community’s collective disappointment, the story later reveals that the man was a fraud with a plan to kidnap Kaya. Fortunately, the Usopp Pirates intervened and taught him a valuable lesson.
The One Piece manga is progressing towards the Elbaf Arc, so don’t miss out on the release date and spoilers for Chapter 1128.
