Helldivers 2 devs reveal a “minor outage” is halting Major Order progression

Currently, Helldivers 2 is experiencing a technical problem that is affecting the game’s ability to track progress on the current Major Order. However, Arrowhead is actively working on finding a solution.

Despite facing numerous challenges devised by Game Master Joel, Helldivers 2 players have consistently risen to the occasion. Their latest achievement was the extermination of 2 billion Terminids in just one day.

Despite being brave soldiers of Super Earth, the next victory for these soldiers may not come as easily. A technical issue has arisen, causing a potential failure of the current Major Order, depending on how the developers are able to resolve it.

The team at Arrowhead has responded in the most fitting manner for Helldivers 2 – by sharing an in-character message from the Galactic Federation on the Helldivers 2 X account via Twitter.

“The developers have stated that a minor outage has occurred in our galactic war systems due to the destruction of a long-range array on Vernen Wells. As a result, your liberation efforts may not be accurately tracked and progress may not be displayed correctly during this time.”

Although this presents a great opportunity to portray a real-life issue within the context of Helldivers 2, it still has a significant impact on players. This is especially evident in the current Major Order, which is notoriously difficult.

The Helldivers’ efforts to coordinate are being hindered due to their inability to track their progress or losing it in some cases. They must defend a minimum of 10 planets against both Terminids and Automatons.

It is unclear if Arrowhead will provide players with any assistance. “Our teams are currently investigating the issue,”they have stated, but a solution is still uncertain at this time.
