Helldivers 2 Player Shares Tip for Keeping Samples Even After Death

A Helldivers 2 player has discovered an incredible trick to stop losing your Samples when you die, and thus ensure you get the currency for those expensive ship upgrades.

Helldivers 2 challenges the bravest players to free the galaxy from enemy forces Automatons and the Terminides. For soldiers to carry out their duty, they must equip themselves with the best equipment and ship modules (which improve their Stratagems).

However, players must work hard to earn ship upgrades. Indeed, they can only be purchased using Samples (which have different levels of rarities).

These Samples can be found in different areas, and it’s up to players to brave the unknown and search for them. However, this can be dangerous. The higher the level of the Sample, the more risk you have to take to find them.

Many players were disappointed to find them, then succumb to enemy forces and ultimately lose them.

A Helldiver shares a tip for safely collecting Samples

One player was tired of being pestered by teammates to help them deal with enemies while carrying the Samples. He got carried away in the comments of a post to express himself about Helldivers 2 on Reddit.

“OF COURSE I’M NOT COMING TO HELP THE TEAM!” I’M CARRYING THE SUPER SAMPLES AND YOU INSIST ON FIGHTING THE 6 HULKS AND 2 TANKS INSTEAD OF FLEEING!!!!»

However, another player came to his rescue with a tip that can save all this stress:

“For those who might not be aware: When you get the Samples, send the fastest person to take them to extraction and drop them off, they will be there when you come back later! “he said.

“Special note: do not drop samples where the extraction beacon lands. This will destroy them,” another player added.

Hopefully, with this tip, players can focus on taking down Terminids and Automatons without stress. Although game master Joel may have increased spawn rates in update 01.000.100. But shh, don’t tell the Helldivers 2 fans around you.
