The recent winner of the Helldivers 2 Major Order has been announced, granting players the opportunity to immediately incorporate a new Stratagem into their arsenal.
The Major Order issued on April 26 gave Helldivers the option to liberate either Choohe or Penta. However, the majority of players have chosen to liberate Penta, making it the first planet in the Lacaille Sector to be liberated in Helldivers 2. This choice also granted each player the opportunity to acquire one of two Stratagems: the MD-17 Anti-Tank Mines or the RL-77 Airburst Rocket Launcher.
The addition of the RL-77 Airburst Rocket Launcher Stratagem to the game was a result of the planet Penta being saved, along with all the civilians, of course.
The RL-77 Airburst Rocket Launcher is a bonus Stratagem that can be equipped. It is categorized as a Patriotic Administration Center Stratagem in your Ship Management.
The new Airburst Rocket Launcher can be unlocked with the Helldivers 2 April 29 patch release. Here’s how.

To obtain the RL-77 Airburst Rocket Launcher in Helldivers 2, simply follow these steps:
- Reach Level 15
- Spend 8,000 Requisition Slips
The RL-77 Airburst Rocket Launcher is a Supply Stratagem that possesses the traits of a Support Weapon and a Hellpod. It has a call-in time of 3 seconds and can be utilized multiple times during a single mission.
To activate the RL-77 Airburst Rocket Launcher during the middle of the game, just press the following buttons:
- Down, Up, Up, Left, Right
The greatest feature of the RL-77 Airburst Rocket Launcher lies in its ability to deploy a cluster of explosive bomblets, capable of taking out multiple airborne enemies simultaneously. Additionally, it is able to destroy the Broadcast Tower with just 1-2 rockets.
