Helldivers 2 players welcome this strategy for killing Corrosive Titans

Discover one Helldivers 2 player’s strategy for defeating the Corrosive Titans with a technique applauded by the community.

In Helldivers 2, the Terminids are a group of fearsome insects that vary in size, from small, easy-to-beat grunts to enormous beasts. The Corrosive Titans occupy this last subgroup. They are capable of spitting acid and delivering blows that can take out with little effort.

However, one user seems to have found an effective way to bring Corrosive Titans to their knees, earning applause from the Helldivers community.

Helldivers 2 Player Uses Hellpods to Defeat the Corrosive Titan

Helldivers players rely on several stratagems to take on the larger Terminides. The Orbital Laser is an example of this, gradually reducing the beast’s armor. Heavy support weapons can also come in handy. However, one person found deploying Hellpods to be even more effective.

Reddit user Kalypso1995 shared his strategy in a clip showing the Corrosive Titan succumbing to a well-timed Hellpod deployment. When the user calls for an Anti-Tank in the final seconds of the video, the pod containing the weapon lands right on top of the enemy and eliminates them.

i know it look stupid but.. it works XDXD byu/Kalypso1995 inHelldivers

It’s unclear how many times the player used this trick before the Corrosive Titan died, but other Helldivers 2 players seem impressed.

One user encouraged the player, writing: “This is actually very, very ingenious! Any experienced helldiver knows that the most effective way to kill the Corrosive Titan is with hellpods! “.

Other answers suggest that many Helldivers 2 users will be trying this trick soon. “Clever shots in progress. I knew stratagems could stick to shields but I always wondered if it would drop if I dropped my pack, thanks for the answer lol,” one fan replied.

It’s good to know that in Helldivers 2, there are several ways to exterminate insects.
