Sony Santa Monica’s God of War Ragnarok, released in November 2022, reached a milestone by selling 11 million copies within just 75 days of its launch. According to Sony, the co-op third person shooter game surpassed expectations and achieved remarkable success.
Despite the sale, there have been some challenges. Last month, Sony revealed that players of Helldivers 2 must connect their PSN account to Steam. This caused a significant amount of backlash from disappointed fans, leading to a flood of negative reviews on the game’s official Steam page.
In all 177 countries where PSN is not currently accessible, Helldivers 2 was removed from the market. However, Sony eventually reversed their ruling and gave users the choice to connect their PSN accounts.
