Helldivers 2’s New Black Hole May Lead to the Game’s Next Major Encounter

The recent event in Helldivers 2 left players in a state of shock, confusion, and excitement. The disappearance of an entire planet and the appearance of a purple-black hole were unexpected and intriguing. This event was triggered by a mission to eradicate a supercolony of Terminids, leading to the emergence of a catastrophic black hole. However, many are wondering if this black hole could be the beginning of something even more ominous.

The recent mission in Helldivers 2 tasked players with eliminating Terminids on the planet Merida. This involved destroying hive nests and swarms of creatures. In addition, one of the main objectives was to extract “dark fluid”from the planet, with the intention of depleting its resources and wiping out all life on its surface and sub-levels. However, the outcome was unexpected as the players unintentionally caused the planet to collapse and form a massive black hole in its place.

In a never-before-seen event in Helldivers 2, the entire planet was replaced by a black hole. While government officials and military combatants are celebrating the demise of the supercolony, there is a possibility that the black hole could result in the emergence of something else or other unforeseen occurrences.

There are numerous unanswered questions about the event. Was the “dark fluid”a unique resource that powered warping technology, enabling humans to journey through the cosmos? Did the Terminid supercolony perish in the collapse or were they simply transported to the other side of the black hole? Will something else emerge from the black hole?

Many players have been wondering about the expansion of the black hole and its potential other uses, as well as how humanity was responsible for causing the black hole catastrophe. Additionally, there is speculation about the return of the Illuminates, one of the oldest enemies in Helldivers 2, through the black hole. These are all common topics of discussion surrounding the recent collapse of Merida, with the general consensus being that something significant will occur in the near future.

Despite currently celebrating the defeat of the supercolony on Merida, Helldivers 2 may have more surprises in store. As evidenced by the black hole at the center of recent events, it is possible that the game will continue to evolve. Players should approach with cautious optimism, as the battle may not be truly over yet.
