The teaser trailer released in 2023 to announce the renewal of this hit series features clips from its initial season rather than new footage. MAPPA, responsible for the first season, is also producing Hell’s Paradise Season 2, with the original voice cast expected to reprise their roles, in addition to the introduction of a new character, Yamada Asaemon Shugen.
Since the renewal announcement, the only promotional material released for Hell’s Paradise Season 2 is key art unveiled by MAPPA in December 2023, depicting the protagonist Gabimaru appearing despondent in a fiery landscape.
