Hidari’s Potential to Embrace Sasuke’s Legacy in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex

The much-anticipated chapter 15 of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex was released on October 21, 2024. This installment showcased the Shinju in action as they decisively bested Code and gained a new ally, Ryu, who was derived from Shinki. However, a subtle yet intriguing detail hinted at a potential betrayal lurking among the God Trees.

While all the Shinju were engaged in light-hearted banter, Hidari remained unresponsive, his demeanor suggesting a deeper issue. This raises the possibility that Hidari’s return could have awakened Sasuke’s will within him, potentially positioning him as a traitor. If this theory holds true, Hidari might evolve into a crucial informant for the Hidden Leaf Village, paving the way for the downfall of Jura and his allies.

Chapter 15 of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex depicted the moment when the Shinju successfully awakened Ryu, after Matsuri observed Shinki being consumed by a Claw Grime. The emergence of Ryu saw him pulling Code out of a different dimension, in which Code had been covertly observing the Shinju. This led to a significant moment where the Shinju publicly humiliated Code, reminiscent of how Jura severed one of his arms.

While the rest of the Shinju reveled in Code’s misfortunes, Hidari, aligned with Sasuke, silently observed without contributing to the conversation. As one of the first Shinju birthed following Code’s use of the Claw Mark technique on the Ten-tails, Hidari’s silence raised eyebrows among fans.

Prior to Ryu’s birth, Hidari underwent a rebirth through a Thorn Soul Bulb, following the death of Sasuke’s Shinju at the hands of Boruto’s Rasengan Uzuhiko. This rebirth might have caused changes to Hidari, potentially explaining his muted response in chapter 15 of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex.

As established in the series, Hidari possesses the chakra of Sasuke Uchiha after the latter’s transformation into a chakra tree by a Claw Grime. This rebirth may have catalyzed a connection to Sasuke’s intentions and will, which could be why Hidari appeared more observant than communicative in chapter 15.

Additionally, this suggests that Hidari might take on a role as a traitor among the Shinju, in alignment with Sasuke’s desire to protect the Hidden Leaf Village during the Seventh Hokage’s absence.

Although it may seem like a stretch to deduce Hidari’s behavior as indicative of betrayal, he could serve as an important information source regarding Shinju maneuvers for the Hidden Leaf Village. Furthermore, Hidari might parallel Kashin Koji’s role, attempting to eliminate his leader, Jura.

Concluding Thoughts

Hidari stands out as the only Shinju who tends to remain silent, preferring to observe rather than engage unless necessary. Therefore, his passive actions in chapter 15 may simply reflect his nature rather than suggest imminent betrayal.

Nonetheless, given that Hidari is the only Shinju to have experienced rebirth, it is plausible that this transformation has altered his dynamics with Jura and the other Shinju. For now, it’s wise to approach these speculations cautiously and await further developments for official clarity.
