HIGHLIGHT Touched Fans With BEAST’s Hits At Concert After Getting Back The Name From CUBE

HIGHLIGHT (Yoon Doo-joon, Yang Yo-seop, Lee Ki-kwang, and Son Dong-woon) performed their solo concert “LIGHTS GO ON, AGAIN” at KSPO DOME in Seoul’s Olympic Park on May 11th at 6 p.m. (KST).

In April, the group reached a mutual agreement with Cube Entertainment, allowing them to once again use the trademark rights of their former group name, “BEAST.”In celebration of this, the members performed BEAST’s popular songs, including “Bad Girl,””Shock,”and “Special,”during their concert.

The members of HIGHLIGHT exclaimed, “You can shout to your heart’s content now,”causing fans to become ecstatic as they introduced themselves as a group, saying, “Hello, we are BEAST.”

Lee Ki-kwang expressed, “Together, we represent both BEAST and HIGHLIGHT. The words BEAST and HIGHLIGHT, when combined, create BEAUTY and LIGHT, which symbolize “heart”and “love.”In that moment, we stood united, creating a historic moment.”

Afterwards, Son Dong-woon expressed, “When choosing today’s setlist, we carefully considered the story flow. We started off with HIGHLIGHT’s songs, followed by a section dedicated to our time as BEAST, and finally ending with a glimpse into the future. The most significant aspect is that we are united with our fans from the past to the present, and into the future,” conveying his love and appreciation for their supporters.

In addition, Highlight’s upcoming solo concert “LIGHTS GO ON, AGAIN”in Seoul has been scheduled for another showing at KSPO DOME on May 12th. The concert will also be included as part of the group’s Asia tour, with performances in Hong Kong and Bangkok in June, followed by shows in Kaohsiung and Tokyo in July.
