Himawari’s Bijuu Bomb in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 11 and Kishimoto’s Explanation

Fans were treated to a sneak peek of the highly anticipated fight between Himawari Uzumaki and God Tree Jura in the upcoming Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 11. This preview was released a week before the manga’s scheduled release on Friday, June 21, 2024. The sneak peek gave viewers a glimpse of the intense battle as both fighters charged up their powerful Bijuu bombs.

Despite the explanation from manga creator Masashi Kishimoto in the previous chapter, not many fans were in favor of Himawari using a Bijuu bomb this early in the story as they felt it was a disgrace to Naruto.

This article includes spoilers from the manga Boruto: Two Blue Vortex.

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 11 – The Not-So-Surprising Bijuu Bomb Performance by Himawari.

The use of the Bijuu bomb by Himawari Uzumaki in chapter 11 of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex is not unexpected, given her unique status as a jinchuriki, which differs greatly from her father Naruto’s relationship with Kurama.

During his time as the Jinchuriki of the Nine-Tailed Beast, Naruto Uzumaki had to engage in a fierce battle with Kurama and extract his chakra in order to unleash the powerful Bijuu bomb. Kurama was constantly resisting and withholding his chakra from Naruto, causing the young ninja to forcefully take it from the tailed beast. However, in the previous chapter, it is revealed that Kurama has now willingly chosen to share his chakra with his new host, Himawari Uzumaki.

In the previous manga chapter, Kurama stated that he and Himawari were now united as one body and soul. This should suffice for fans to accept Himawari’s use of the Bijuu Bomb without questioning it.

Despite fans arguing that Himawari had an advantage over Naruto in using the tailed beast chakra, it was actually Naruto’s influence that allowed Kurama to willingly work with her. Before befriending Naruto, Kurama was filled with hatred as a tailed beast. However, thanks to their friendship, Kurama was willing to share his chakra to protect those close to Naruto.

Additionally, in the previous chapter of the manga, Kurama explained that Himawari possesses a stronger connection with him than any of her predecessors, including her father Naruto. This solidifies the fact that manga creator Masashi Kishimoto had already provided an explanation for why Himawari using Kurama’s powers was logical.

Moreover, unlike Naruto’s experience where he had to figure out his path as a Jinchuriki on his own, Himawari has the advantage of Kurama’s guidance in using his chakra. It can be inferred that Kurama must have taught Himawari how to execute the Bijuu Bomb, making her learning process much smoother. Therefore, it is not surprising that Himawari successfully utilizes the Bijuu Bomb in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 11.
