What is the Edens Zero series about?
The manga centers around Shiki Granbell, a boy who spent his entire life living among machines at the deserted Granbell Kingdom amusement park. One day, a B-cuber named Rebecca Bluegarden and her robot cat companion Happy arrive at the park’s entrance in search of material for their video content.
Unbeknownst to Rebecca and Happy, they were the first guests to arrive on the planet in a hundred years. As a result, Rebecca became the first human that Shiki had ever made contact with. After their initial meeting, Shiki quickly befriended both Rebecca and Happy.
The following day, the group of machines banded together and launched a rebellion against the newcomers, with the intention of taking control of their ship and seeking retribution against the human race. In order to defend against the attack, Shiki was compelled to utilize his Gravity abilities. With his homeland now fraught with danger, Shiki made the decision to join Rebecca and Happy aboard their spacecraft, embarking on a quest to locate the cosmic being known as Mother.
