Based on Billboard’s rankings, ILLIT successfully landed a spot on the Hot 100 chart, coming in at No. 91 for the week ending on April 20. This accomplishment is noteworthy as it is their first time appearing on the Hot 100, a significant achievement considering the chart’s recognition of the most popular songs in the United States.

Additionally, this accomplishment made ILLIT the first-ever K-pop group to debut on the Hot 100 with their debut song. It also solidified their position as the quickest K-pop group to enter the Hot 100, surpassing FIFTY FIFTY’s previous record of four months within just three weeks.

ILLIT has joined the ranks of other successful K-pop girl groups such as Wonder Girls, BLACKPINK, TWICE, NewJeans, FIFTY FIFTY, and LE SSERAFIM as the seventh group to enter the charts. Additionally, ILLIT has become the ninth overall K-pop group to achieve this feat, alongside popular boy groups BTS and Stray Kids.

Fans on the social media platform X (Twitter) took to congratulating the group.

ILLIT made their debut on March 25 after being formed through the collaborative survival show “R U Next?”between HYBE’s subsidiary label BELIFT LAB and station JTBC. The group’s current lineup consists of members Iroha, Wonhee, Minju, Moka, and Yunah.
