HisWattson agrees with ImperialHal that he should be “blacklisted” from Apex Legends competitive

Jacob ‘HisWattson’ McMillin, a prominent player in Apex Legends, has replied to Phillip ‘ImperialHal’ Dosen’s statement that he should be banned from competitive teams due to his departure from FURIA’s roster.

As two of the leading competitors in Apex Legends, HisWattson and ImperialHal have consistently clashed – both in the battle royale arena and on social media – with tensions often running high.

Despite remaining one of the top-ranked players in Apex, HisWattson has made the decision to retire from competitive play and leave the FURIA roster. McMillin explained that he no longer found enjoyment in the competitive scene and that his motivation wavered during certain matches.

“Despite the fact that the games were not streamed, I was still miserable and lacking in passion,”he shared. He also admitted to intentionally making poor decisions and “throwing”games in order to leave the event in Raleigh, North Carolina.

ImperialHal expressed his thoughts on his competitor’s choice to leave, stating that he should be banned from joining any future teams. “I appreciate his honesty, but his mindset is extremely negative. If I were his teammate, no disrespect to Wattson, but he should be banned,”the TSM star said with a chuckle, also joking about banning Wattson.

The former FURIA player did not object to Hal’s extreme opinion. He stated, “Hal believes I should be permanently barred from competitive Apex. While that may seem extreme, I welcome the ban. It will eliminate any temptation or possibility of me returning.”

Wattson expressed that he is most comfortable playing Ranked games in Apex as he is required to consistently compete in order to defend his top ranking.

“According to him, he used to have a motivation to wake up in the morning because he would often play competitive games later in the day. As a result, he would avoid playing in the morning and end up sitting idle.”
