The Halls of Herodiana side quest can only be accessed after reaching a specific point in the main quest of Hogwarts Legacy. Upon finishing Professor Sharp’s Assignment 1 and acquiring the Depulso spell, players will be able to begin this side quest.

Enter the Charms Classroom located within Hogwarts Castle.
Find Sophronia Franklin and interact with her.
Go through the NPC’s dialogue and accept the quest.

How to Solve the Halls of Herodiana Puzzles

To begin solving the puzzles for this side quest, you must first find the concealed entrance to the Halls of Herodiana.

To reach the hall’s entrance, head to the Defence Against the Dark Arts Tower on the ground floor, which can be found south of the exit that leads to the Transfiguration Courtyard. Once there, use the Depulso spell on the middle block of the red marble wall.

Once you have entered the hall, you will need to solve three puzzles to obtain Herodiana’s outfit from the three chests. However, this can only be achieved by following a specific sequence of steps in the correct order.

With that being said, the following steps will guide you in solving the Halls of Herodiana puzzles and successfully completing this side quest in Hogwarts Legacy:

First Hall of Herodiana Puzzle

The first puzzle in the Halls of Herodiana quest in Hogwarts Legacy is fairly simple.

Use the spell Depulso to move the two blocks towards the wall on the east side.
Please ascend the walls to get to the door located above the blocks.
Open the chest to claim the first piece of Herodiana’s outfit

Second Hall of Herodiana Puzzle

The second puzzle is a little tricky but can be solved with a little bit of patience and caution.

Use Depulso on the solitary block located on the second level in order to move it in a westerly direction.
To pull the movable blocks over to the ground line, use Accio on the movable block at the bottom level after moving to the head of the non-movable stone block line.
Climb on top of the blocks to jump up to the next platform.
Access the higher platform and open the chest to obtain the second piece of Herodiana’s outfit.

Third Hall of Herodiana Puzzle

The third puzzle is the most challenging in this series and will require a lot of patience to solve.

In order to move blocks towards the southern wall, utilize Accio.
Use Depulso to move the blocks towards the switch.
Use Accio once more to bring nearby blocks towards the northern wall and then climb on top of them.
Leap over the blocks to reach the opposite ledge of the northern wall and turn on the switch to reset all the blocks.
Use the Accio spell to move the blocks to the eastern and northern walls, allowing you to create a pathway to jump across and climb the wall.
To obtain the third and final piece of Herodiana’s outfit, open the chest after jumping across the blocks and reaching the wall.

After finishing all three puzzles, you can return to Sophronia and speak with the NPC. The NPC will then request to see Herodiana’s outfit, and you can decide whether to request a fee for completing this side quest and earn some Gold. However, even if you choose not to ask for a fee, you will still receive a certain amount of XP for successfully completing the quest.
