Home Depot reveals life-size Darth Vader decoration for Star Wars Day

The worlds of Halloween and May the 4th come together as Home Depot introduces a life-size decoration featuring the iconic character of Darth Vader from Star Wars.

Over the past few years, Home Depot has unexpectedly emerged as a popular spot for purchasing Halloween decorations.

Previous products from the popular home improvement superstore have gained widespread attention, such as its highly sought-after 12-foot tall skeleton that typically sells out quickly during the season.

Despite the current year, Home Depot has proven to have a strong presence with their enormous decoration inspired by the infamous Darth Vader from the popular Star Wars franchise.

According to Comic Book, the Halloween decoration featuring Darth Vader stands at an impressive height of 7 feet, which is only a few inches taller than the iconic Dark Lord of the Sith himself. As reported by Collider, Vader’s height in the movies is 6’6″.

The unveiling of the decoration is perfectly timed for May the 4th, also known as Star Wars Day. It features the iconic red lightsaber of the character as well as a spooky pumpkin.

The Vader boasts eerie LED mood lighting to enhance your Halloween setup. Additionally, it comes equipped with animatronic movements and sounds inspired by the movies, although specific details have not been revealed yet.

With its Halloween-inspired lightsaber and pumpkin design, this decoration is ideal for the holiday season. However, it can also be used as a festive addition between holidays. The Christmas bauble in the shape of the Death Star and the amazing candy cane lightsaber blade make Darth Vader the perfect complement to last year’s 3.5″Yoda holiday display piece.

Recently, Home Depot’s website has been slowly releasing early Halloween decorations, with Vader being the latest addition. On April 25th, they brought back popular items such as the iconic 12-foot-tall Skeleton and an animated Frankenstein’s monster.

The Darth Vader decoration from Home Depot will cost $299 and is anticipated to be available on their website in the near future.
