On July 19, fans of ATINYs expressed their opinions on the social media platform X (Twitter) regarding an update from Seonghwa. According to multiple online posts, Seonghwa shared an Instagram Story featuring a Lego set gifted by Hongjoong.
The idol thanked @no1likeme8_8 for scolding them with a gift to cheer them up while they were feeling down. In addition, Seonghwa included ATEEZ’s song “Thank U”as the background music for the story.

The agency stated, “Following consultations with the company, Seonghwa will resume his U.S. schedule after taking time to be with his loved ones and attend the funeral during this period of mourning.“
KQ later announced that, as a result of the incident, Seonghwa would not be able to participate in ATEEZ’s “[TOWARDS THE LIGHT: WILL TO POWER] IN OAKLAND’ SOUNDCHECK”on July 17, but would still be performing at the concert as planned.
