Honkai Star Rail 2.2 Update: New Banners, Exciting Events, and More!

On April 26, 2024, HoYoverse held the official livestream for the release of Honkai Star Rail version 2.2. Here is a rundown of what we currently know about it.

In version 2.2, Honkai Star Rail will pick up where it left off in version 2.1, allowing players to reunite with familiar characters and unravel the enigmas concealed within Penacony.

Release Date for Honkai Star Rail 2.2

Currently, there is no set release date for Honkai Star Rail version 2.2. However, if the usual 6 week cycle is followed, players can expect the version to be released around May 7, 2024.

Robin is one of the featured characters in Honkai Star Rail version 2.2.

It has been confirmed by HoYoverse that Honkai Star Rail version 2.2 will introduce two fresh 5-star characters. The banners for the upcoming version update are listed below:

Honkai Star Rail 2.2 will feature a new story quest

In the upcoming version 2.2, Honkai Star Rail will introduce a fresh story quest titled The Fool Always Rings Twice. This quest will pick up from the events of version 2.1 and allow players to uncover the mysteries of the Dreamscape in Penacony.

Throughout this story quest, players will also reunite with familiar faces like Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae and Jing Yuan.

Honkai Star Rail 2.2: Meet the New Boss!

Honkai Star Rail 2.2 will feature a brand new boss

The upcoming 2.2 version of Honkai Star Rail will feature a new boss named Harmonius Choir: The Great Septimus. This boss will be incorporated into the Trailblaze quest and will consist of three distinct phases. To defeat this boss, players must first target and defeat its minions in order to prevent its powerful attacks.

Honkai Star Rail 2.2 will feature multiple events for the players

The upcoming version 2.2 of Honkai Star Rail will offer various events for players to take part in. These events include:

Clockie: Dreamjoy Memori– Clockie Studios in Penacony is facing issues and they want a brand new Director to save them from the troubles. This is the featured event of Honkai Star Rail version 2.2.
The Legend of Galactic Baseballer– Giovanni has invited the Trailblazer to take part in an event surrounding the player itself.
All About Boothill– Boothill is causing trouble and he has multiple bounties on his head. If the Trailblazer wants to get involved they can earn some cash out of it.
Gift of Odyssey: Gift of Odyssey returns once again as Trailblazers can log-in to the game and earn 10 Star Rail Special Passes.
