Leaks of the Honkai Star Rail have revealed the impending arrival of a new boss named Hoolay in version 2.5, causing fear among players.

Players who have faced bosses like Sam or Aventurine can attest to the fact that the developers are unafraid to make them challenging. Nevertheless, with the appropriate strategies, all of these bosses can be defeated.
According to recent leaks, players can expect an even greater challenge in the upcoming version 2.5 as developers introduce a formidable boss. The feared Hoolay is capable of entering a state known as Moon Rage, granting it a staggering 380 SPD on the 12th floor of Memory of Chaos. This has sparked fear and anticipation among players.

In Honkai Star Rail, SPD is the determining factor for the speed of a player’s turns. As a turn-based game, having a high SPD allows for easier boss defeats. It’s important to note that bosses can also possess SPD, making it crucial to strategize and avoid making any mistakes that could lead to your team’s defeat.
Hoolay possesses a unique trait where leaks have revealed its ability to summon Wolftroopers. Each summoned Wolftrooper will boost the boss’s SPD by 5%. After every enemy has made 6 attacks, the boss will enter a state called “Moon Rage”. During this state, the boss’s SPD will reach a staggering 380, resulting in an infinite number of turns until the party is defeated.
Some players on the Honkai Star Rail leaks subreddit shared their worries. One player even made a joke about the boss, saying “looks like the bosses are trying to 0 cycle us now.”Another player also commented on the boss, mentioning how it will “beat the crap out of everyone in Rage mode.”
At the moment, it is difficult to determine the best strategy for defeating this boss. However, it will be important to have characters with high SPD.
