Is there a release date for Imaginary March 7th in HSR?
HoYoverse has not yet officially announced the debut of Imaginary March 7th in the game. However, players anticipate her arrival with the upcoming version 2.4 update, expected to be released in August 2024.

Imaginary March 7th Leaked Abilities
March 7th’s updated version will remain a four-star character, but she will now be classified as an Imaginary unit in the Path of The Hunt. These HSR characters excel at inflicting heavy damage on individual foes, and it appears that March will bring some innovative elements to this role.

- My sword possesses the ability to zap demons, making it a basic attack that inflicts imaginary damage on a single enemy. Additionally, it also grants me one Charge.
- Brows Be Smitten, Hearts Be Bitten (Increased Basic ATK) – This attack initially deals three hits per turn. Each hit against the target enemy inflicts Imaginary damage. There is also a possibility to inflict up to three additional hits after the final hit.
- Master, It’s Tea Time! (Skill) – Designates a single ally (excluding this character) as the Master and increases their SPD. Only the latest target of March 7th’s Skill will be regarded as her “Master.” When using Basic ATK or dealing DMG from one hit of her Enhanced Basic ATK, triggers the following effects based on the specific Path of the Master:
- Erudition, Destruction, The Hunt: Deals additional DMG (Combat Type based on the Master’s Type).
- Harmony, Nihility, Preservation, Abundance: The Toughness Reduction for this DMG increases by 100%.
- On March 7th, the Apex Heroine’s (Ultimate) attack deals Imaginary damage to a single target enemy. This ability also increases the number of hits in the next Enhanced Basic Attack by two and improves the chance of dealing additional damage.
- After the Master uses an attack or Ultimate, March 7th’s talent, Ascension, allows her to gain up to one Charge each time. Once she has accumulated seven or more Charges, she can immediately take action again and increase the damage she deals. Additionally, her Basic ATK is enhanced and she can only use her Enhanced Basic ATK. Using this enhanced attack will consume all seven Charges.
- Feast in One Go (Technique) – When March 7th is on the team, she gains a Charge every time an ally uses Technique. This can happen up to three times before entering the next battle. Additionally, March 7th regenerates 30 Energy upon entering the next battle after using her Technique.
Although units like Fu Xuan and Aventurine debuted, March 7th continues to be a Preservation character. While her new version may not be among the top Hunt characters, she still possesses intriguing supportive abilities.
Her most important ability is her Skill, which can have varying effects depending on the team’s composition. This makes her a highly intriguing addition for free-to-play users.

Imaginary March 7th Leaked Signature Light Cone

Poised to Bloom at Four-star The Harmony
This gear increases the wearer’s ATK by 16%. Additionally, if there are at least two allies on the team who share the same Path, these characters’ CRIT DMG will also increase by 16% when entering battle.
Despite not being usable by Imaginary March 7th, the Light Cone is still a worthwhile choice for Harmony characters. It has limited compatibility with certain team compositions, but as it will likely be available for free, many players may still find value in utilizing it.

Imaginary March 7th Leaked Eidolons
Ahead of its debut on March 7th, information about the new Eidolons was leaked. Here is what you need to know about them:
- My Sword Stirs Starlight (E1) – Upon activation of Ultimate, the next Enhanced Basic ATK will have a 36% increase in CRIT DMG.
- In the fight against Blade Dances on Waves (E2), once the Master uses their Basic ATK or Skill to attack an enemy, March 7th will swiftly follow up and inflict Imaginary DMG on the same target. This also activates a corresponding effect based on the Master’s Path and grants one Charge. If there is no available enemy to attack, March 7th will strike a random enemy. This ability can only be activated once per turn.
- With the E3 upgrade, Sharp Wit in Martial Might increases the Skill Level by 2, with a maximum limit of Level 15. Additionally, the Basic ATK Level is raised by 1, with a maximum of Level 10.
- Never Fear Being Fabulous (E4) – At the beginning of each turn, 5 Energy is restored.
- In the game Swords Delights, Sugar Blights (E5), the Ultimate Level can be increased by 2, with a maximum limit of Level 15. The Talent Level can also be increased by 2, with a maximum limit of Level 15.
- As the Best Girl on Sight (E6), I enhance the Master’s CRIT (presumably DMG) and Break Effect by 60% for 2 turns after using Enhanced Basic ATK.
Based on leaked information, the upcoming event will not only grant March a new Path and Element, but also three of her Eidolons as a reward.
