With the climax of My Hero Academia rapidly approaching, only one chapter remains to reveal the biggest mystery of the series – the true identity of Deku’s father. Despite never having made an official appearance in the manga, fans are eagerly anticipating his reveal. Along with this revelation, there are other mysteries that also need to be uncovered in the final chapter.

Thankfully, the author of My Hero Academia has announced that the series’ ultimate mystery surrounding Deku’s father will be unveiled in the final chapter. However, it remains uncertain how much of this mystery will be solved, much like the other unresolved mysteries in the series.

Hisashi Midoriya is the father of Izuku Midoriya, the protagonist of My Hero Academia. This information is revealed in the My Hero Academia: Ultra Archive: The Official Character Guide.

In the initial chapter of the series, Izuku discovered his fate as a quirkless individual and all details about him were uncovered. Hisashi utilized a quirk that enabled him to produce flames from his mouth.

Additionally, his departure to work overseas raised speculation about whether he had abandoned his family. The author also mentioned that the reveal of Hisashi would occur in the future.

The last installment of the series is scheduled for release on August 5, 2024. If the author keeps his promise, it is highly anticipated that fans will finally get to witness the appearance of Izuku Midoriya’s father.

Among the various theories circulating on the internet, one in particular stands out – the idea that the ultimate villain, All for One, is actually the father of Izuku Midoriya. This theory gains support from the fact that All for One’s face was never shown until his death.

His ability to steal quirks effortlessly also allowed him to effortlessly produce fire from his mouth. This could explain why Izuku was born without a quirk, as All for One may have taken it during his childhood, similar to how he took Tomoko Shiretoko’s (Ragdoll) quirk.

After the unknown character was unveiled following the final battle, many fans theorized that he could be Izuku Midoriya’s father, who was previously injured. While some view All Might as a paternal figure, others believe he could actually be Izuku’s biological father, providing an explanation for Izuku’s lack of quirk.

While these theories remain speculative, they center around My Hero Academia’s biggest mystery: Deku’s father’s potential involvement in the Hero Society events. It would be a letdown if he is not actively involved, given the significance placed on him.
