My Hero Academia Season 7: Special Illustration of Bakugo Katsuki

On X, manga artist Kohei Horikoshi shared an illustration of Bakugo Katsuki. The artwork depicted Bakugo with a concerned look on his face and his eyes were creatively colored orange. The choice to feature Bakugo in this illustration was inspired by his character arc in season 7 of My Hero Academia.

Bakugo has played a crucial role in the anime series for a considerable amount of time. As Deku’s rival, he consistently pushed himself to reach new heights. Unfortunately, in the seventh season, Bakugo met a tragic end that shook the entire fanbase who only watched the anime. He was killed by the hands of Tomura Shigaraki, despite his brave efforts. Shigaraki’s powerful punch was enough to stop Bakugo’s heart and lungs from functioning properly.

Despite facing near-death in season 7 of My Hero Academia, Bakugo is able to make a triumphant return to the series thanks to the efforts of Edgeshot. Utilizing his Quirk, Edgeshot is able to heal Bakugo’s heart and lungs from the inside, securing his return to the series. Not only does Bakugo make a comeback, but he also deals the final blow to All For One, one of the series’ most formidable adversaries.

Despite his initial haste with his Quirks, All For One begins to falter in the fight. In a moment of quick thinking, Bakugo combines his explosive sweat with his regular sweat, allowing it to enter AFO’s body. This results in a powerful explosion that inflicts damage from within. In the end, Bakugo delivers the final blow, ultimately destroying AFO’s physical form.
