House of the Dragon Viewers Disappointed That Season 2 Won’t Include Insane Chemistry Between Characters

With House of the Dragon Season 2 just around the corner, several fans are disappointed that the intense chemistry between one pair will not be featured in the upcoming season.

It’s no secret that House of the Dragon Season 2 is going to be explosive. The online community has been flooded with both real and fake leaks, while members of the cast have also shared their own thoughts on the matter.

As the press tour comes to an end, fans of House of the Dragon have noticed the “insane”chemistry between Tom Glynn-Carney (Aegon) and Phia Saban (Helaena), and are disappointed that it does not translate to their characters on the show.

God, it’s too bad they won’t have THIS chemistry in the show byu/krabbypathos inHouseOfTheDragon

One fan commented on a clip of the pair playing a game of this or that, expressing their disappointment that the show would not showcase their chemistry. They exclaimed, “God, it’s a shame they won

A second person chimed in, saying, “Tom is able to get along with anyone. I have a great fondness for him and I find Phia to be absolutely charming.”A third individual added, “He comes across as a kind-hearted person. I’ve watched videos of him being amiable with the HOTD event staff as well. He’s just an all-around pleasant person. (And Phia is just too adorable).”

Despite fans’ beliefs, it remains highly improbable that Aegon and Helaena would develop a similar relationship due to the events portrayed in both the original books and House of the Dragon Season 1.

The source material suggests that the duo’s relationship is primarily based on obligation and convenience, rather than love and passion. Their marriage is seen as a means to prevent civil war, with emotions taking a backseat. Despite this, the source does mention that they have a strong fondness for each other.

At the conclusion of Season 1, Alicent successfully defends Aegon and is spared by Rhaenys, along with the rest of his family. The whereabouts of Helaena are unknown, but Christon Cole, who will play a significant role during the chaos caused by Blood and Cheese, was seen escorting her to safety.

Despite this, there is speculation that Aegon’s character will have a more substantial role in the upcoming episodes, and fans are eager to see his dynamic with Helaena further developed.

“I completely agree. I also hope that Phia Saban gets more screen time before B&C, and I am eagerly anticipating Season 2 to be Tom Glynn-Carney’s time to shine,”another fan reflected on Reddit.

“After only three or four episodes, both of them will be incapacitated for the foreseeable future,”grimaced a fan.

The second season of House of the Dragon will debut on June 16. Additionally, there are other new TV shows available for streaming this month.
