How big is Black Ops 6? File size on PC revealed

After its full reveal on CoD Direct, the file size for Black Ops 6 has been disclosed, along with the availability of preorders. So, what is the necessary amount of space for CoD’s latest game?

Following the Xbox Showcase, the highly anticipated CoD Direct finally revealed Black Ops 6 after several months of teasing by Activision.

With the full reveal of Black Ops 6, we have been given a glimpse of the new Omnimovement, the revival of round-based Zombies, and a multitude of maps, Operators, and weapons that will be featured in the game.

Prior to preordering the game, it is important to determine the amount of storage required to accommodate it.

Is the File Size for Black Ops 6 Really 300 GB?

According to Activision, the file size for Black Ops 6 will not exceed 300 GB, as reported on their website.

Upon the release of Black Ops 6 for preordering, the Xbox preorder page for the game indicated that the estimated file size for the game would be 309.85 GB.

Nevertheless, Activision has made it clear that the 300+ GB file size comprises complete installations of Black Ops 6, MW2, MW3, Warzone, Zombies, along with all content packs and localized languages.

In actuality, the total size of Black Ops 6 with Warzone and COD HQ installed will be 149 GB. However, the standalone game of Black Ops 6 alone will take up 78 GB.

Similarly to installing MW3, you will have the option to select which parts of CoD you wish to keep in the CoD HQ launcher by accessing the ‘manage files’ section.

There was no indication as to whether the size mentioned is exclusive to PCs or if it also applies to consoles, as it is intended to be an estimate. Keeping this in mind, console versions typically have smaller sizes, so anticipate less than that.
